SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WREG) — Dozens gathered at Northpoint Christian School Tuesday night in memory of professional football player Christian Saulsberry. Saulsberry's life was cut short at 25 years old. The DeSoto County Sheriff's Office said he was fatally shot at a friend's party in Walls, Mississippi. Mark McDaniel, the man accused of fatally shooting Saulsberry, has been extradited to the DeSoto County Jail. There was no shortage of outpouring love for him and his family. Number twos filled the inside of the gym at Northpoint as an ode to Saulsberry who wore the number proudly when he led the Trojans to the state championship in 2015.
