MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Federal data shows that the majority of Mid-South residents are struggling to make ends meet. 'It's hard to live paycheck to paycheck,' said Tabitha Vanzile, a 21-year-old who was shopping at a Southaven Walmart on Friday afternoon. She showed FOX13's Your Money reporter Kate Bieri, a pack of three chicken breasts, which cost her $12.20. 'It's doubled in price,' she said. 'I've had to get on some food stamps because of it.' More than 71% of Mississippi residents reported at least some difficulty paying bills, according to data from the United States Census Bureau's ‘Household Pulse' survey.
