Cheryl Hayes, who owns Blue Haze Farms with her husband Tony, recalled when he told her he wanted to move to a farm. She said it felt like "Green Acres." "I thought, 'I don't want to move to a farm. I love my house, my neighborhood, and all that.' I said, 'If that's what you want, I'll do it,'" Hayes said. This was in 2019. They went to look at a 38-acre property in Nesbit, Mississippi. Hayes said it was pretty, with a big pond and a 100-year-old farmhouse. The couple were living in Southaven at the time.
